This COB (Chip on board) LED strip is a flexible LED strip with no dotting. This is especially useful if the LED strip is going to be visible or is diffused by a clear cover. LED Strip lighting is easily installed into panels or trays just by bending/folding the strip without the need for connections or soldering.
It has an impressive 288 LEDs per metre behind a totally diffused COB style phosphor cover. Priced per metre, it can be cut every 10cm. The COB LED Strip is IP65 rated version.
With an energy consumption of 9 watts per metre, it produces approx 800 lumens per metre. It has shorter cut points which improve flexibility at just 10cm and a high CRI (Colour Rendering Index) of CRI90 as standard. This is a technologically advanced LED tape for premium users who demand something more.
For outdoor use heat-shrink and silicone sealant must be applied on the end cap and the front connection to protect against water damage. Do not use the lights near a swimming pool, hot tub, bathroom, sauna and fish tank. Strictly prohibited to use underwater.
LED Neon Flex has an attached controller with a UK plug to be plugged into a socket. Cutting the plug and hardwiring the lights would void the warranty. If you want to hardwire the lights then use the DC 12V 24V or 48V light.
Important Note:
This product is not suitable for recessed outdoor installations on the ground or any surface. For such applications, you need an IP67, IP68 neon flex, which is specifically designed for outdoor recessed use. Any amendments or Improper use of the product voids the warranty.
